Stinger Games announces the upcoming release of War Control, a 3D turn based strategic warfare game for iOS devices. Take the classic strategy board game to the next dimension.

Battle for world domination against opponent CPUs in single player mode or compete online against other players. The setting is a 3D virtual Earth which the player moves and controls with a touch or swipe of their finger. Holographic military units follow your battle orders invading and occupying enemy zones. Zoom out to evaluate the global wartime situation. Zoom in for up close combat footage as armies fight for dominance.



Build up your deck of special attack cards to unleash an onslaught of destruction upon your opponents. The better of a field General you are, the more special attack cards you unlock as an award. Build up your arms cache to take on bigger scenarios and tougher opponents. Airborne invasions, drone strikes, gunships, naval bombardments, and full on nuclear weapons like MIRV missiles and the dreaded Tzar Bomb.

Unlock dozens of global scenarios from the Cold War and modern times against several unique opponent CPUs, each with their own tactics and strategy. Only have a few minutes with your iPhone? Some quick scenarios only take 5 minutes. Have time to kill? Challenge a bigger scenario for more hard core strategists.

Join others to play online in real time. Or play asynchronously where players can play their turn when it is convenient. You can login anytime to see what actions your opponents have taken and then complete your turn. Check your rankings online or customize your scenarios for unique challenges.

In classic retro, Cold War style, the synthetic digital voice of the game both narrates and guides the player.
